P9 Connect Issues - Multiple Screenconnect Processes

Customers who are using P9 Connect may encounter issues with multiple Screenconnect processes started at the same time. 

Some servers are severely affected. 

Basically you need to "kill" all running "Screenconnect" processes on the affected machine(s) and then update the "Panorama9 Agent" to the latest version (3.8.29).

If you are having this issue please do the following:

Connect to the affected server(s) or machine(s): 

1. Start Powershell on the machine

2. Kill all old "screenconnect" client process(es) 

Get-Process | Where-Object {$_.Path -like "*Screenconnect.Client*"} | Stop-Process

Example shell:


3. Now update the agent to the newest ( 3.8.29 )

& 'C:\Program Files\Panorama9\wyUpdate.exe'

or 

& 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Panorama9\wyUpdate.exe'

depending whether your machine is a 64 bit or 32 bit and you are good to go

Press update and the process starts

Press close all process if asked.

Once the update process is done your machine(s) will be running normally again.
